How RAP Works:
- RAP is a consortium of UCSF funders
- Applicants select the grant mechanism, not the funding agency; funding agencies select the awardees
- Consideration by multiple agencies enhances funding likelihood
- RAP does not control the $$$ nor topic areas that are funded
3 Easy Steps to Apply:
- Find the grant mechanism that is the best fit for you
- Write the grant proposal for the chosen mechanism following the grant-specific instructions
- Submit your grant proposal via the RAP PORTAL
Spring 2024 Updates:
- Mount Zion Health Fund (MZHF) is seeking to fund 8-10 Mount Zion Campus-based pilot research projects (cancer and non-cancer) in this cycle and encourages MZ-based principal investigators to submit applications. Note: there isn’t a separate MZHF RAP grant mechanism RFA – MZHF participates in RAP as a sponsor and applicants should submit to the RAP grant mechanism that is the best fit.
- UCSF Faculty based at Fresno, Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center and the VA Medical Center are all welcome to apply
- School of Dentistry (SOD) is not sponsoring the Spring 2024 Cycle and will resume in Fall 2024 for clinical research.
- Bixby Center is not sponsoring the Spring 2024 Cycle and will resume in Fall 2024.
- Only NIH Bio sketch version H will be accepted with RAP applications this Spring 2024 Cycle.
